Yogic Bliss brings you a dedicated space to practice Isha Hatha Yoga for the very first time in Denmark.
Learn a range of Isha Hatha yoga practices for enhanced energy, balance and well being and practise thereafter by yourself.

We offer five ancient practices – Upa Yoga, Surya Kriya, Yogasanas, Angamardana, Bhuta Shuddhi- which together take a holistic approach towards the wellbeing of an individual. We teach in an intimate group setting of not more than 4 students at a time to ensure individualised attention and high quality teaching. We like to keep it small to give our students a more personal training. Our idea is to impart this knowledge in such a way that our students don’t need to go to any studio or classes thereafter. They learn a skill for lifetime, which stays with them forever. Whether they are travelling or are at home, they don’t need any extra props or equipment, apart from their own body and a yoga mat.

 We also provide various memberships oriented towards establishing your practices and making it regular!

 
 
Why Isha Hatha Yoga?

At Isha, Hatha Yoga is imparted not as a physical exercise, but in its full depth and dimension, enabling a person in the most fundamental way, to flower into his ultimate potential.

What Yoga is not?

In the western part of the world, if you utter the word yoga, people think of impossible physical postures. This is a very distorted idea of what yoga is. The word “yoga” literally means “union.” What does union mean? Today it is a scientific fact that the whole existence is just one energy manifesting itself in a million different ways. For ages the religions of the world have been saying, “God is everywhere.” Whether you say “God is everywhere” or “Everything is one energy,” it is not different. Einstein called it energy, you call it God. It is the same thing being expressed in two different ways. But a scientist has only mathematically deduced it. He has not experienced it. A person who just believes it has also not experienced it. Somebody just told him so.

Yoga is not about bending and twisting your body or holding your breath. It is a mechanism and a technology to get you to that state of experience where you see reality just the way it is.

As a yoga practicioner for some time, I find Isha a precious resource for inner well being. Leraning Yoga at Yogic Bliss has truly been a gift. The teacher, Taruna creates a warm, loving and safe environment, where you feel welcome. No matter what your physical condition, body shape, age or lifestyle is. Yoga has not come naturally to me, but Taruna manages to inspire me, and forms her programme to work for anyone.

Unlike many western adaptations of yoga, which focus only on exercise, Yogic Bliss offers a genuine, holistic yoga experience. I was suffering from severe back pain which started as a little pain in shoulder and extended to the legs within a few days. Sitting on the floor would trigger it immediately. I consulted Orthopaedic doctor, took physiotherapy sessions for months but in vain. Finally to my rescue, I learnt Isha Yoga practices from Taruna and soon cultivated strength and flexibility in my spine which I thought was not possible for me.
