What personal data we collect
We may require you to provide certain information to us in order to enter into and perform our contract(s) with you or to comply with our legal obligations. Except in these circumstances, your decision to provide personal information to us is generally voluntary and, where it is voluntary, you may choose to withhold and not provide personal information to us. If you choose not to provide certain information to us, we may not be able to accomplish some of the purposes outlined in this policy.
How will we use the information about you?
We will use your personal information necessary in order to enable us to provide our services to you. This data is collected in order to communicate with you to send class and workshop confirmations and reminders, class pass purchases and renewals, refunds and cancellations. We also require that new clients complete a medical screening while registering to Yogic Bliss (see below). This information is only viewed by our teacher.
You may, of course, decline to submit your email and phone number, which in some cases may mean that we are not able to provide certain services to you.
Yogic Bliss Mailing List
We may, from time to time, use your phone number to contact you about urgent class changes or to inform you if a waiting list place becomes available. We will only do this if you have booked the class in question, or added yourself to the waiting list. If you do not wish us to contact you this way, please inform us in person or by emailing email@example.com
Emergency Contact Information
Emergency Contact information is collected solely for use in an emergency, should Yogic Bliss need to contact your next of kin or give this information to the emergency services.
In order to safeguard the health of our clients, we also ask clients to complete a medical screening form (embedded in Program registration form) on their first registration to Yogic Bliss. Our clients also inform us about their medical conditions through legal waiver form which is collected on paper. The information gathered on these forms is strictly confidential and used solely to inform our teachers of any medical conditions. The information provided enables our teachers to provide safe alternative options during classes and workshops, and, where necessary, advise clients from undertaking the class/ workshop that they wish to sign up for.
We use Google forms and Google spreadsheets to process the data collected from Program registration form. Google is committed to GDPR compliance across Google Cloud services. For further information, Please read Google cloud and the GDPR
Cookies and IP addresses Collected by this Website
We may store information about you using cookies (files which are sent by us to your computer or other access device) which we can access when you visit our site in future. We may also collect your device’s IP address as part of the basic functioning of this website. We do this to allow the website to function properly and to collect anonymous information about how this website is used, through Google Analytics.
Please note that by deleting our cookies or disabling future cookies you may not be able to access certain areas or features of our site.
How do we process your data?
Yogic Bliss complies with its obligations under the Data Protection Act/GDPR by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.
Website Contact Form
Should you need more information about the classes and workshops that we provide, you can contact us via the contact form on our website. In order to process your query, we request that you complete all fields (email, first name and surname, service and message). All messages sent via the contact form are sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and are only viewed by Yogic Bliss administrators. You can request a copy of correspondence, or its removal or correction, as stipulated in the Subject Access Request section.
